How to play Beach slots online

This video slot is available in most Net Entertainment casinos, and offers 5 reels and 20 paylines of gameplay to enjoy. Firstly, players need to determine just how much each coin will be worth, and this varies from £0.01 up to £1.00. Although the players cannot alter the number of paylines they are going to play with, they can adjust the betting level, to anything from 1 to 10 coins per line. This gives the slot a minimum wager of only £0.20, and a maximum wager of £200 per spin.

Many icons used in the slot are typical beach themed items. The treasure chest is the best paying of the standard symbols, and if a player bags 5 of them on a payline, they’ll net 2,000 coins for themselves. Other decent pay icons include the pearl in an oyster, a shellfish, a starfish and a seashell. A selection of smooth pebbles, make up the standard high playing card icons, with each letter (and the 10) etched into the surface of the rock icons.

Beach bonus features

This slot utilises a scatter symbol that is represented by a bottle. This scatter symbol will offer free spins (known as Free Waves in this slot game). This is because the waves wash ashore the symbols needed to fill the reels. 3 or more scatter symbols will trigger this feature. 3 icons will guarantee the player 8 Free Waves, whilst 4 or 5 scatter symbols offers up 16 or 24 Free Waves, respectively.

The wild symbol

This slot machine uses a piece of flotsam and jetsam as a wild icon. The piece of woo that has a starfish and a crab attached to it is printed “wild”. The wild symbol can appear on reels 1, 2, 4 and 5, and can substitute themselves for any symbol needed by the player to complete a payline, with the exception of the scatter symbols and the Octopus Wild icons.

The Octopus Wilds

There is another special wild icon in this slot. The Octopus Wild icon is a very happy purple octopus that can appear only on the third reel. Like any wild icon, is can substitute itself for any symbol, barring scatters and standard wilds. The Octopus Wild icon can substitute itself with any two symbols in adjacent positions on the second and fourth reels too. Any wins that occur using Octopus Wilds are afforded a 2x multiplier. As with all payline wins in this slot, all winning bet lines have to feature symbols from left to right, and in succession. The wild icons will only be used to pay out the highest possible line bet win.

The Beach jackpot

This online slot comes with a total non-progressive jackpot of 40,000 coins. The treasure chest icon will payout 2,000 coins on the first betting level, with 20,000 coins the prize if 10 coins per line are wagered. If an Octopus Wild is included in the payline, this is of course doubled to offer the top prize of 40,000 coins.

Other notes on Beach

Despite the fact that Beach isn’t a progressive jackpot slot, there is some serious money involved in this slot, and with quite a lowly maximum wager, no less. Graphically, you aren’t going to find a better tropical island themed slot than this.

It is rather interesting that the reels in this slot, act more like columns than reels. As mentioned, the tide washes up the symbols that will fill the columns ashore, and this makes the slot far more interactive than many of the other beach themed slots out there.

Where a lot of other slots have gone wrong, is that they have tried to focus on sunshine, ice creams, decks chairs, and babes in bikinis. Net Entertainment have thrown all that in the bin and laughed at the other casino software developers with this slot. They have opted for simpler symbols, but that are also more realistic (aside from the treasure chest).

The sound in this slot is more than simply audible, and most gamers are going to enjoy seeing what washes up from the surf in the Beach slot game, I most certainly did.
