Full Review

The crime scene needs investigating and you have been chosen to go centre stage in this slot machine game, which has been designed and developed by Net Entertainment. Crime Scene has a superb realistic crime-scene for a background, with the reels making up part of a crime scene investigator’s laptop, as does the game’s menu and control bar. The symbols are all stuff you’d expect a top CSI investigator to use, so graphically, it is quite authentic to everything we might expect to see.

How to play Crime Scene slots online

This slot is available in the very best online casino that run Net Entertainment software, and is played across 5 reels, with 15 payline available. Unfortunately, the paylines cannot be adjusted by the player, which is a shame, but ultimately, not the end of the world.  Coin values vary from £0.01 up to a quid in this slot game, with 10 betting levels, and each offering an extra coin to be wagered. The floor bet in this online slot is £0.15 per spin, whilst the ceiling wager involves a top stake of £150 per spin.

There are two main types of icons in this slot machine game. They are broken down into those which are crime scene instruments, and those which are the high playing card icons. The latter are etched onto concrete with chalk, making for every evidence marks on the ground. The former are worth considerably better payouts, the more you strike on a payline. These more advanced icons include a 9mm handgun, a forensics briefcase, the goggles and of course, a bloody footprint.

Crime Scene bonus features

There is a single bonus feature in this slot game. The fingerprints icon acts as the games bonus symbol or scatter symbol if you prefer. Whenever a player pockets three or more bonus symbols anywhere on the reels, the bonus round will begin. Players are awarded only one bonus game per spin, at any one time. Obviously, the more the player wagers in the standard game, the larger the bonus money will be worth in the bonus game.

The wild symbol

This online video slot utilises sticky wilds as wild symbols. The police badge is that wild symbol. Any wins the player accumulates with sticky wilds will see them offered a 3x multiplier on their winnings. Sticky wilds will only stay on the reel for up to 5 spins, and can substitute themselves for any symbol in the game, aside from bonus symbols. As with most wild wins, those in this online slot are only offered on consecutive symbols from left to right.

The Bonus Round

The bonus round in Crime Scene is an evidence collection game. Players are greeted to a separate screen, containing 30 evidence folders. Every single folder a player clicks on will reward them with a coin win. There is a special symbol that will end the bonus round though, so players will wish to avoid this.

Should they strike the unlucky bonus ending symbol, they will be awarded a second chance game. In the second chance game, there are four envelopes to choose from. Coins and a 2x multiplier are present in the envelopes, as is the possibility to return to the bonus round.

After the bonus round concludes, the player will return to the game proper.

The Crime Scene jackpot

There is a total jackpot of 22,500 coins in this slot game. If the player has the maximum wager staked when they win the jackpot, they will find themselves with a total real money prize of £7,500. There is also superb opportunities to win big money in the bonus tough, so gamer’s needn’t rely on the top jackpot.

Other notes on Crime Scene

Is a jackpot of only £7,500 really worth £150 a spin on the maximum wager? That is entirely up to your preference of course. Some will say that it is others that it’s not. What cannot be denied though is that even more a minimum wager, the chances of landing a superb windfall in the bonus round are quite high.

The bonus is positively laden with chances for players to scoop lots of wonga. Even if players stuff it up and bow out of the bonus round in the first evidence folder choice, they can always get back into the bonus round via the second chance envelope game, or still come away with good dosh via the same game.

The fact that the wilds are sticky for at least 5 spins of the reels, makes it even more entertaining and more probable that you’ll win decent cash, in what has to be one of Net Ent’s most generous and giving slot games.

This is a superb little slot, and even the absence of a “real” scatter symbol isn’t truly missed here, thanks to all the other goodies that it contains.
